Why the workshop?
Well, hard to say.
That's hardly because my feelings of nostalgia.
Especially in these years when I felt memories belonging to our generation - who borned in 2000s - is dying down slowly.
For example, the animation series "A.U" (阿U, Chinese TV series premired in 2012) - nearly no one remembers it, compared with when which has been popular among children before 2015.
Plus, another instance - PEP English textbook (version 2012), which has suprised me when I read it for the first time when I was in grade 3. But now students may feel confused with the weird figures in newly updated version 2024 of the textbook.
Stimulated by such suddenly changes, I started thinking about that, to preserving the memories of our generation, preventing them from being away from us in the fragile cyber-society.
That may be the principle of me, or, the Yinoe Workshop.
